Piracy Hurting The Nigerian Movie Industry?

Piracy is too much for such an industry that is booming.I heard my colleagues boast that if it was not for the population, Nollywood would have taken the number two spot away from India's Bollywood as the world's number two booming movie industry. The lack proper and established distribution channels and failure of government intervation have really escalated the problem of piracy
It is too costly for someone lets say an actor who will put in his time, effort and talent to make a good movie and later get peanuts out of their hard work.Imagine it reaches an extent of them contacting the pirates for some under a dime yet input is too much. Even getting to these pirates  is input Oh Gosh!!!!. With this, movies become substandard because producers and marketeers want to get something out of their hard work and thus look for shortcuts that normally are letting relatives, girlfriends and boyfriends play roles in delicate parts of movies.
But sometime back the government had promised a fund to curb this problem but to date its empty talk. The government really needs to protect the intellectual property of our creative minds. Therefore, it really goes beyond an intervention fund. We need total deliverance in the industry.I strongly believe that if this industry is well cultivated, it can yield even higher returns than the oil money that our leaders are crazy about because Entertainment in many circles is goldmine
As one folk asserted do we value our Nigerian talent? The solution I suggest should be to join hands we the stakeholders.Practitioners need to play their part and the government needs to play its part too.A Thirty Billion fund was announced to help curb such problems,so i guess this should be the beginning.
