This couple got married, after a brewing romance, in 1973. The wedding was a hush-hush affair as the Bachchans wanted to invite only the close family members. This duo acted in movies like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Silsila’ and the super hit ‘Sholay’. They last acted together in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’.

        

2. Dharmendra & Hema Malini

Dharmendra got to marry the ‘dream girl’ of Bollywood in 1980 and it was rumoured that he converted to Islam in order to do so as his first wife refused to divorce him. Things people do in love! They fell for each other while acting together in ‘Sholay’. Recently they were paired together in the dud ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’

        

3. Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Singh

This marriage had been long time coming and inevitable as the duo had been seeing each other for quite a while. Rishi Kapoor was reportedly commitment phobic fuelling rumors of a possible fallout but finally married the teenage heartthrob Neetu. In recent times they have featured together in ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ and ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

People say opposites attract and this couple is a prime example of the same. While Kajol is outgoing and boisterous, Ajay is the total opposite. This duo met during filming of the movie ‘Hulchul’ and love blossomed. Soon after a whirlwind romance, they tied the knot in a simple ceremony. They starred together in their debut movie ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, which although didn’t do all that well but was enough to ignite the romance between the lead pair. Their last movie together was ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ which was an average hit.
